IDL-101 Z-Wave Lock

This describes the Z-Wave device IDL-101, manufactured by Alphonsus Tech with the thing type UID of idlock_idl101_00_000.

The IDL-101 supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is unable to participate in the routing of data from other devices.

Inclusion Information

  1. Bring the controller as close as possible to the lock unit
  2. Set the controller to inclusion mode
  3. Push and hold KEY button on the inside panel on the lock until all keys on the outside light up and a audible signal is given.
  4. Release the KEY button on the inside panel
  5. Press the key 8 on the outside panel
  6. The LED flashes blue when inclusion is in progress
  7. The inclusion may take some time as security is required

Exclusion Information

  1. Set the controller to exclusion mode
  2. Push and hold KEY button on the inside panel on the lock until all keys on the outside light up and a audible signal is given.
  3. Release the KEY button on the inside panel
  4. Press the key 8 on the outside panel
  5. The LED flashes blue when exclusion is done

Wakeup Information

This is a frequently listening device (FLIRS) which supports beaming. This means that the lock will check regularly for incoming commands, and respond quickly without the need for any user specification of wakeup intervals or physical wakeup procedures.

Door Lock

Lock and unlock the door.

The lock_door channel supports the Switch item and is in the Door category.

Alarm (access)

Indicates if the access control alarm is triggered.

The alarm_access channel supports the Switch item and is in the Door category. This is a read only channel so will only be updated following state changes from the device.

Alarm (raw)

Provides alarm parameters as json string.

The alarm_raw channel supports the String item. This is a read only channel so will only be updated following state changes from the device.

Battery Level

Represents the battery level as a percentage (0-100%). Bindings for things supporting battery level in a different format (e.g. 4 levels) should convert to a percentage to provide a consistent battery level reading.

The battery-level channel supports the Number item and is in the Battery category.

Device Configuration

The following table provides a summary of the 2 configuration parameters available in the IDL-101. Detailed information on each parameter can be found in the sections below.

Parameter 1: Door Lock Mode

Sets the door lock mode No details in manual, will update when the meaning of this parameter is uncovered. The following option values may be configured -:

The manufacturer defined default value is 1 (Disable Away Auto Lock).

This parameter has the configuration ID config_1_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 2: RFID Register Mode

Sets the RFID registration mode

Values in the range 0 to 0 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 0.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_2_2 and is of type INTEGER.

Lock Timeout

Sets the time after which the door will auto lock.

This parameter has the configuration ID doorlock_timeout and is of type INTEGER.

Association Groups

Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic.

The IDL-101 supports 1 association group.

Notification reports are sent out to devices included in this association group This group supports 5 nodes.
